The Public Information Officer is responsible for the development of strategic communication planning, leveraging technology such as the internet and social media, to enhance outreach efforts that will educate and engage the public about Anderson County services. The office's focus is on both communications with the public as well as internally to the employees of the organization.
We assist with responses to media requests and assist departments with education and outreach through a variety of methods, including video production by Anderson County TV, social media platforms and the county’s website.
