Anderson County’s unemployment rate dropped to 3.8% in March as 548 county residents found employment during the month, according to the latest statewide labor force report issued by the S.C. Department of Employment and Workforce. ANDERSON COUNTY, SC (April 20, 2017) — Anderson County Roads and Bridges Department will closing Ballard Road (C-6-41) for repairs to x-line. The closure is between Highway 29 North and Stoneybrook Road, and will remain closed until repairs are complete.
