General Information -
 Permit Fee Schedule -
 FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) Request Form - This form is required to be filled out complete if requesting copies of information per the SC Freedom of Information Request Act.
 Adopted Codes & Ordinances - Beginning July 1st 2013, Anderson County will be enforcing the attached listed codes and ordinances.
 When Is An Architect Required? -

Commercial Permitting Documents-

 Commercial Permit Application Form - This form is required to be filled out complete when applying for a permit for Commercial Construction.
 Handicap Accessible Restroom Diagram - Information is based on ANSI A117.1 - 2009 Edition.
 Modular Office Requirements - Outlines the minimum requirements to permit SC approved Modular Buildings.

 MSDS Analysis Sheet - This document is required to be filled out and submitted along with the MSDS Sheets.
 SC Modifications to the Adopted 2012 I Codes - This list reflects modifications that were approved by the SC Building Codes Council that went into effect beginning July 1st 2013

Residential Permitting Documents-  
 Residential Inspection Checklist - 2012 IRC- This document reflects the 2012 International Residential Code (IRC) that went into effect July 1st, 2013.
 Residential Deck Construction Guide- This document is published by the American Wood Council and reflects the 2012 IRC
 Type 1 and Type II Graspable Handrail- This document is provided as a general guideline depicting the requirements of a Type 1 and Type II Graspable Handrail as outlined in the 2012 IRC.
 SC Modifications to the Adopted 2012 I Codes- This list reflects modifications that were approved by the SC Building Codes Council to the 2012 International Codes that went into effect July 1st 2013
 Adoption of the 2012 IRC- This letter was developed as a notice to all Builders of the adoption of the 2012 IRC. It also contains a list of some of the Significant Changes. Note: This does not reflect all the changes in the 2012 IRC
 2009 Energy Code Checklist- As of January 1st 2013, this form is required to be filled out complete for all new Single-Family Dwellings, Additions and Renovations. This is a checklist identifying the requirements of the 2009 International Energy Conservation Code. This form must be submitted to our office prior to the Final Inspection.
 Chapter 4 - 2009 International Energy Conservation Code (Residential)- Chapter 4 of the 2009 International Energy Conservation Code (IECC). This is being made available as additional information when filling out the 2009 Energy Code Checklist For Residential Construction.
 Residential Permit Application Form- This form is required to be filled out and submitted prior to permit issuance. This form can be filled out on-line and then printed
 SC Residential Construction Standards- This document is published by the SC Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation(LLR)and outlines various acceptable construction standards
 Owner/Builder Subcontractor Listing- This form is required to be filled out if you are pulling a permit as Owner/Builder. All subcontractors are required to be identified at the time of permit issuance.
Mobile Home Permitting Documents-
 Manufactured (Mobile) Home Set-Up Guideline - Revision dated 3/6/15.This document is to be used as a Guideline to set-up a Manufactured (Mobile) home within Anderson County. All changes are highlighted in Yellow.

Substandard Housing Petition Of Complaint- This form is required to be filled out and signed by a minimum of 5 residents and mailed to our office before an investigation can be started.

Swimming Pool Guidelines and Requirements-  
Swimming Pool Requirements And Guidelines- Minimum guidelines for pool installation including the Pool Fence Affidavit. This document has been revised based on the 2012 IBC, IRC and the 2011 NEC.
Miscellaneous Documents -  
Tall Grass/Overgrowth Complaint Form- This form is required to be filled out complete and submitted to our office before a site inspection can be conducted by our office.
