The Deputy Administrator works closely with the County Administrator to carry out the directives and priorities of County Council's and assumes the Administrator's role in his/her absence. In addition to the duties as Deputy County Administrator, he/she
provides executive level supervision for the Public Works Division.

The Central Administrative Services Division provides an array of professional support and information services in the areas of: building maintenance, information technology, financial management, procurement, assessment of real property, GIS, E911 addressing and land records.

Parks, Recreation & Tourism Division

Parks, Recreation & Tourism (PRT) works to enhance Anderson County’s tourism and agricultural economies.  Residents and visitors enjoy an enriched quality of life through the use of the County’s recreational facilities.  PRT preserves and displays Anderson’s rich heritage; and, provides our special needs and senior population the opportunity for recreational and social outlets. 

The Division consists of these departments:

  • Anderson Sports & Entertainment Center

  • Anderson County Museum

  • Senior Citizens Program

  • Farmer’s Market

  • Parks Department

  • Special Populations Recreation
