View Pets Available for Adoption at Anderson County P.A.W.S.

We keep a brief listing (with pictures) of animals available at P.A.W.S. Listing is posted as soon as pictures of these potential pets have been taken! Please follow the link above to view listings. Adoption fees (include cost of Spay/Neuter Surgery, booster shot, feline Leukemia test for cats/kittens, heart worm test for adult dogs and rabies vaccination for all animals 3 months or older) are as follows:

  • Dogs/Puppies: $35
  • Cats & Kittens: Free

NEW! We are now feeding Science Diet food and a sample bag is sent home with each newly-adopted pet and adopter!

We are always in need of donations. We gladly accept monetary donations that go directly to providing enrichment for the animals in our care.

The Anderson County Humane Society now operates a Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic. The clinic operates several days a week and is currently open to all. Normal fees range from $35 - $65 depending on sex and size of the animal, and possible extra help is available for people in need. To make an appointment please call: 864-367-7220. Help prevent the euthanasia of unwanted pets, please spay/neuter!
