LAKE HARTWELL SELECTED TO HOST 2020 FLW TOUR EVENT

Fishing League Worldwide (FLW), the world’s largest tournament-fishing organization, announced today that Lake Hartwell has been selected to host the fifth event of the 25th season of the FLW Tour, April 23-26, 2020, in Anderson, South Carolina. The announcement comes on the heels of FLW’s announcement in May that the 37th annual T-H Marine FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) All-American would also be held on Lake Hartwell. Anderson County Council Members Collaborate on Project to Provide New Safe Sidewalks for Children Walking to School

The long-awaited Jackson Street project, which will provide a new, safe sidewalk between Hillside Drive and the rear entrance of Westside High School, is now underway in Anderson. The project’s active construction phase comes as a result of the significant and collaborative efforts of County Councilwoman Gracie S. Floyd and County Council Chairman Tommy Dunn, who represent County Council Districts Two and Five, respectively.
