IF YOU NEED A PLAT OR AN APPLICATION APPROVED, YOU WILL HAVE TO USE THE US POSTAL SERVICE TO DELIVER TO OUR OFFICE. PLEASE INCLUDE A CHECK AND A SELF-STAMPED RETURN ENVELOPE OR YOU MAY PAY OVER THE TELEPHONE. 

SCDHEC SEPTIC PERMIT APPLICATIONS CAN BE SUMMITTED ELECTRONICALLY AS LONG AS ALL INFORMATION IS COMPLETE WITH THE APPROPRIATE FEE. CREDIT CARD PAYMENT CAN BE ACCEPTED OVER THE TELEPHONE OR IF YOU WISH TO PAY WITH A CHECK, YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO USE THE US POSTAL SERVICE TO DELIVER TO OUR OFFICE WITH A SELF-STAMPED RETURN ENVELOPE.

Report An Issue

In a few simple steps, YourGOV users can submit common non-emergency issues — such as potholes, vandalism, street light outages and more — complete with location, details and photos. Once submitted, YourGOV will automatically deliver requests to the County where they are reviewed and routed for proper handling.

The Anderson County Development Standards Office is responsible for reviewing new and existing land use development plans and applications, commercial, large-scale projects, industrial, multi-family, subdivisions, zoning, and floodplain development permit applications, assist with request for zoning inquires, accept septic tank permit applications for SCDHEC, respond to complaints of land use and zoning violations, answer citizen inquires, process appeals and variances regarding land development and zoning codes.
