ENVISION AC

ENVISION 6

ENVISION Anderson is a community visioning process, currently underway in County Council District #6.

What is Community Visioning?

A "community vision" is an image of what residents want their community to look and feel like in the future. The community visioning process involves the members of the community coming together to determine - through a collaborative effort - what that image should be.

A community vision is about values, desires, and aspirations, and serves as a guide for making decisions about the future development of the community.

For more information, please view our Community Visioning video and hear a Message from our District 6 Councilman, Jimmy Davis.

How does community visioning work?

The process involves a series of workshops, where community members identify the features of their community that are most important to them, as well as things they would like to see in the future. Through this process, the community's values are revealed, future goals are identified, and the vision is created.

How can I get involved?

Currently, the Envision process is underway in Council District 6 and everyone is invited to be involved. It takes everyone - residents, business owners, and partners from organizations and institutions - to formulate the community vision. The more participation we have, the better it will be.

It's your community. Your elected leadership and local government needs to hear your voice, your concerns and your ideas for your community, in order to help make tomorrow all you want it to be.

The Envision 6 workshops are being held throughout the summer in different locations in Council District 6. Please see the schedule below for more information.
