TRZ Management Presents Cigar Smoking “Blue Collar Comedy Tour” Star In Concert at the Anderson Sports and Entertainment Center

ANDERSON, SC, February 16, 2018 – TRZ Management proudly announces Ron “Tater Salad” White will perform in concert Saturday, April 28 at the Anderson Sports and Entertainment Center. The cigar smoking, scotch drinking comedian will bring his bold storytelling style to the stage at 7:30 p.m.

White, an Arlington, Texas native, got his start playing small comedy clubs around the country for years. That all changed in 2000 when he made the leap to big-time stardom in 2000 as part of the “Blue Collar Comedy Tour.” He teamed up with Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall and Larry the Cable Guy in a hilarious three-year sweep that sold out arenas across the country. The group later released a concert film in theatres that also became the highest rated movie in the Comedy Central channel's history.

He released his first solo comedy CD in 2003, followed by his first one-hour comedy special, “They Call Me Tater Salad.” That hit special has sold over 2.5 million copies and has been certified Multi-Platinum. Other specials and CDs followed, and White has been nominated twice for a Grammy Award. His book, Ron “Tater Salad” White: I Had the Right to Remain Silent—But Not the Ability, debuted on the New York Times Best Seller List. He has also had comedy roles in several feature films.

White has always been a storyteller, relaying stories about his youth in Texas oil country and selling windows for a living before taking up comedy. He is both razor-sharp and blunt, and for the past decade, he has been one of the top three grossing stand-up comedians on tour in America.

Tickets for Ron White’s April 28 show in Anderson will go on sale at on Friday, February 23.
