November 18, 2015—Anderson County’s unemployment rate for the month of November was recorded at 4.6%, according to figures released today by S.C. Department of Employment and Workforce.  This is the lowest rate measured in more than 14 years and is the 5th unemployment lowest rate in South Carolina. Ms. Schulz's third graders from Saint Joseph's Catholic School visited the Downtown Courthouse Plaza this morning (Friday). Sharing good will and 'warmth' with the community, they decorated the Courthouse Plaza around the Christmas Tree with hats, scarves and gloves, each bearing a note - "I am not lost, please take one if you are cold!" County Administrator invited the students to come in for a special tour of the historic Courthouse, lead by Courthouse Elf Steve Newton.
