(April 11\, 2022) – On Friday\, April 15th at 10:00 a.m.\, County Council will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for improvements at Dolly Cooper Park in Powdersville. \nCounty Councilman Jimmy Davis\, who represents the area on County Council said\, regarding the park improvements\, “This is a more than half-million-dollar investment that will benefit people of all ages and from all walks of life in our community for decades to come.” Mr. Davis continued\, “This project would not be possible without the support of my fellow County Council members\, our legislative delegation partners Rep. Cox and Sen. Richard Cash\, and NewSpring Church. It has been a pleasure working with Senator Cash on this project\, and we could not do this without him.” \nRep. West Cox\, who represents the area in the S.C. House of Representatives\, said\, “I’m proud to be a partner in this project\, and I know that it will benefit thousands of families and children in our community for many years to come.” Rep.
