The Anderson County Legislative Delegation will fill a vacancy on the Anderson County Board of Education Area Seven.

Chairman Anne Thayer has announced that anyone interested in that area should send a Biography/Resume to the Delegation Office, PO Box 8002, Anderson, SC 29622, by Friday, February 10, 2023.

The appointment will be for the balance of the open seat expiring 12/31/24. The appointee must run in the 2024 General Election to maintain the position.

The primary function of the Anderson County Board of Education is to review and approve or disapprove the operating budgets of the five respective school districts. Several other issues may arise from time to time, which the Board needs to have a working knowledge of and can be provided by our office.
