Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Public Notification of Discrimination

Anderson County does not discriminate on the basis of disability in its access to services, programs or activities. Persons with disabilities who require an accommodation should contact the office of the program, service or activity no later than 24 hours prior to the scheduled or regularly scheduled event.

ADA Complaint and Grievance Procedure

If you believe you have been denied an equal opportunity to participate in or to benefit from an Anderson County service, program or activity due to a disability, please inform us by using the County’s Grievance Policy and Form. If you require an alternative format of this form, please contact the ADA Compliance Coordinator.

These policies and procedures were adopted by County Council on March 15, 2016 through Ordinance #2016-005.
