The Anderson County Bicentennial Parade commemorates 200 years of local history in a lively and welcoming setting. Community members are encouraged to participate and enjoy the celebration. There is no entry fee, and all participants should align with the Bicentennial theme. The senior citizen programs are available to all Anderson County residents 55 and older regardless of race, gender or religion. The schedule of events may change from season-to-season, so please contact us for times and locations of any activities that interest you. Senior Citizens have a great deal to give to our community. We encourage you to continue to have an impact on the lives around you by becoming a volunteer for a local non-profit agency. We can help you find the place that is right for you.
