About

Anderson County Media provides transparency through multiple communications channels, including the web, email, printed materials, social media, videos, government-access cable television and digital apps. 

Our On-Air initiative is being pursued as an outlet to provide citizens with information relating to all facets of Anderson County life.  The primary goal is to provide our citizens in all parts of the County with pertinent information regarding governmental operations, the health and welfare of our communities, and upcoming events.

Anderson County Historic Courthouse

Anderson County and its county seat, Anderson, were named for Revolutionary War General Robert Anderson (1741-1812).

Anderson County Council Chambers

The Anderson County Council meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month in the Council Chambers, Historic Courthouse, 101 S. Main St., Anderson, SC 29624.

Green Pond Landing by Drone

Green Pond Landing & Event Center was opened on December 19, 2014, and features a three-lane concrete ramp that measures more than 280 feet long for historic periods of high and low water. It also has 166 truck/trailer parking spaces and 113 single parking spaces for spectators and co-anglers. The facility is ADA accessible.

Anderson County Library System

The library is community-driven and innovative, providing essential resources, services, and spaces. www.andersonlibrary.org

Anderson County Musuem

The award-winning Anderson County Museum (ACM) collects, preserves and interprets artifacts that document the history of Anderson County and South Carolina.

Anderson County Farmers Market Skyscape

The Anderson County Farmers Market is located in downtown Anderson and is open to all local vendors whose products are grown, produced or processed within 50 miles of Anderson County.

Anderson Regional Airport (KAND)

Anderson Regional Airport (KAND) serves the aviation needs of visitors, businesspersons, corporate executive teams and the residents of Anderson County. The Airport is a vital part of the total transportation infrastructure system of Anderson County, offering fuel, aircraft maintenance, pilot services.

Saluda River

Thousands of experienced and inexperienced kayakers and tubers have taken part in the amazing Saluda River Rally over the past decade. This year promises to be bigger and better. All events are ADA accessible. All proceeds from the Rally are donated to Area 14-Anderson County SC Special Olympics.

Anderson County Ronald P. Townsend Building

Anderson County Ronald P. Townsend Building houses the offices of Legislative Delegation and Veterans Affairs, as well as Summary Court.

Anderson County Courthouse Annex Building

The Courthouse Annex is considered the One-Stop Shop for citizens. The Annex departments that offer streamline services to the public are the Treasurer, Auditor, Assessor, Register of Deeds, E911 Addressing, Building Codes, Planning and Development Standards

Anderson County Complex at 1428

The County complex located at 1428 Pearman Dairy Road in Anderson is the hub for all public works operations, Economic Development, Sheriff's Office, Clemson Extension Office, and SC Works.

Anderson Voter Registration & Elections

Responsible for voter registration and conducting all County, State, and Federal elections ~ openly, fairly, and transparently in Anderson County, South Carolina.

Civic Center of Anderson

This 37,000+-square foot state-of-the-art multi-use facility provides a conference center, exhibition hall, and entertainment arena.

Anderson County Sports Complex

Home of baseball and soccer fields, pickle ball and tennis, disc golf course, walking trails and KidVenture Playground.

Visit Anderson

Visit Anderson plays a vital role in recruiting sporting events, meetings, and social gatherings to our area.
