Music from talented bands, a KidsZone experience for the entire family, more than 15 food trucks, and 30 craft vendors will bring out the community to AnMed Rhythm on the River on May 4 at Dolly Cooper Park in Powdersville.

The action runs from noon until 8 p.m. on the bank of the Saluda River. Admission is free.

“We love this event not just because we’re community members who are investing resources in health care here in Powdersville and Piedmont, and not just because we get to help bring together talented bands, delicious food trucks, crafts and fun family games,” said AnMed CEO William Kenley. “We also love this event because it’s a great excuse for us to personally get outside at Dolly Cooper Park and listen to talented bands, eat from delicious food trucks, indulge in local crafts and bring our kids out to play. Community is what it’s about, and we cherish being part of this community.”

As the third-annual festival’s title sponsor, AnMed will have teammates on hand sharing information about AnMed Piedmont, the new campus to open next year just a few miles from the site of the festival.

Bands slated to perform include Gritty Flyright, Brandi Colt & Andrew Crawford, the James Tucker Duo, and The Fortunate Sons, and spotlight performances will come from the Sweet Potato Pie Kids Band and the Powdersville High School Jazz Band.

Concession vendors include A Taste of Freedom, Birria Boy, Chef on the Run, Chuck Wagon Kettle Corn, Churro Masters, Cousins Maine Lobster, Coyote Coffee, Dip’t Cookies, Distinct Cider Room, Golden Grove Farm & Brew, Hawaiian Donut Company, Mac Attack, Nomadik Few, Rad Dads BBQ, Traveling Taps, Vampire Penguin and Yum Bai.

Special prizes, giveaways, face painting, balloon artists, giant games for all ages, golf-cart transportation and a hospitality tent for everyone will be part of the fun, too. Admission and parking are free.

Dolly Cooper Park is located at 170 Spearman Circle, Powdersville, South Carolina, 29611. More than 4,000 people attended last year’s festival.
