The Association of Collegiate Anglers (ACA) Hartwell Slam brought an exciting weekend of competitive fishing to our community, with strong participation and impressive results on display. Over the course of the two-day event, multiple 20-pound bags were weighed in, highlighting both the quality of Lake Hartwell’s fishery and the high level of competition.

Local support played a significant role in the event’s success. Notably, 9 of the top 10 finishing teams—including the tournament champions—are sponsored by Visit Anderson and Green Pond Landing, underscoring the strength of our local partnerships and their impact on the sport.
The event not only showcased elite angling talent but also reinforced our community’s reputation as a premier destination for competitive fishing events.
