Celebrate Anderson Festival Announces Jeep Extravaganza to benefit Area 14 Anderson County SC Special Olympics.

Jeep Lovers, rev your engines! As part of this year’s Celebrate Anderson festival, organizers proudly announce a new reason to celebrate! This is the celebration of rugged rides, community spirit, and giving back—all to benefit Area 14 Anderson County SC Special Olympics.
Shock City Jeep Club is presenting the event that invites Jeep enthusiasts from near and far to show off their vehicles and compete for top honors in a variety of categories, including:

“This is more than just a car show,” said Dale Horne, Shock City Jeep Club President, “It’s a celebration of community, passion, and purpose. Every Jeep entry helps support the amazing athletes of Special Olympics and brings more awareness to their achievements.”
In addition to the competition, attendees can enjoy live music, food trucks, family activities, and a chance to meet some of the inspiring athletes from Area 14 Anderson County SC Special Olympics. More than 300 jeeps from throughout the southeast are expected to participate.
“Hosting the Jeep Extravaganza during the 26th annual Celebrate Anderson offers a great reason for families to come out early to enjoy all this holiday festival has to offer before the concert and fireworks show,” said Adrienne Cole, General Manager at the Anderson Sports and Entertainment Center. “It’s going to be a very big year, with the free headlining concert featuring Kool and the Gang,” Cole said. “We expect more than 15,000 people will come Celebrate Anderson with us.”

Whether you’re bringing your Jeep to compete, joining with your club, or coming to cheer on your favorites, the Jeep Extravaganza at Celebrate Anderson promises a memorable day for a meaningful cause.
Proceeds from the registration of the Jeeps will benefit the Area 14 Anderson County, SC Special Olympics, which provides year-round sports training and opportunities for athletic competition to participants with intellectual disabilities. “We are thrilled to join up with Shock City Jeep Club to raise funds and awareness for the Special Olympics,” Kathy Schofield, Anderson County Special Population Recreation Program Director, said. “We are always looking for innovative ways to help our special populations live life to the fullest. This will be a fun day for all!”
