Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Anderson County Council will not meet at its regularly scheduled meeting on April 7, 2020. Future meetings will be announced in accordance with the meeting requirements of the South Carolina Freedom of Information Act. The County Council encourages all Anderson County citizens to comply with federal and state orders regarding the coronavirus in order to remain safe and well.
The Anderson County Bicentennial Parade commemorates 200 years of local history in a lively and welcoming setting. Community members are encouraged to participate and enjoy the celebration. There is no entry fee, and all participants should align with the Bicentennial theme.
