County Administrator Announces First Phase of Staff Reorganization

 Anderson County, S.C. (February 20, 2020) – County Administrator, Rusty Burns, announces the first phase of an internal reorganization of County staff. Effective February 18th, Alesia Hunter is being promoted to Planning, Development, & Building Director along with Adrienne Cole being promoted to Civic Center Manager.

Ms. Hunter will now oversee the County’s Development Standards, Planning & Community Development, and Building & Codes Departments. She has worked for Anderson County since 2007 and previously worked for Pickens County for nearly sixteen years. She studied public administration and pre-law at University of South Carolina, is a Certified Zoning Administrator, Certified Building Codes Director, and Certified Floodplain Manager.

Ms. Cole, has worked for Anderson County for over 22 years in multiple positions. She previously held the position of Business Manager & Event Specialist of ASEC and now will be responsible for managing  the Civic Center and all aspects of its operations. She holds a B.S. degree in Business from Anderson University and is certified in food protection by the National Restaurant Association.
