County Council Announces Town Hall Meeting in Starr on Proposed Road Fee

To Be Held at Starr Fire Department on Tuesday, July 30 at 6:30 p.m.

Anderson County, S.C. (July 24, 2019) – County Council has scheduled a town hall meeting in Starr concerning the proposed County road fee. The meeting will take place at Starr Fire Department, 7715 Highway 81 South, Starr, SC, beginning at 6:30 p.m. County officials will open the meeting with an informational presentation followed by an open discussion.

Council Vice-Chairman Ray Graham, who represents the towns of Starr and Iva and surrounding areas, said, “I think everyone agrees we have issues with our roads, and I hope this town hall will give Council members and folks in my district the opportunity to talk through the pros and cons of the proposed County road fee.”

The public is invited and encouraged to attend.
