Voter Registration and Elections Executive Director Katy Smith announces that she plans to retire from public service on Monday, July 12, 2021. Mrs. Smith’s career in county government began in the Anderson County Public Defender’s Office; and, she will complete her 28-year tenure as the Executive Director of the Voter Registration and Elections Office.
“It has been both an honor and pleasure to serve as an appointed official in Anderson County. I truly will miss my work family and friends,” said Katy Smith. “Thank you to all who have worked alongside me and supported me over the years.”
