County Council to Hold Dedication Ceremony at East-West Parkway Park in Memory of the Late County Councilman Francis M. Crowder
Crowder Championed Creation of East-West Parkway andRegulations to Preserve Natural Beauty of Area
Anderson County, S.C. (April 7, 2022) – On Sunday, April 10that 3:00 p.m., County Council will hold a dedication ceremony at the East-West Parkway Park in honor of the late Former Anderson County Councilman Francis M. Crowder.
Council Chairman Tommy Dunn said, regarding the park dedication, “Mr. Crowder championed the East-West Parkway as a whole, including the installation of solar lighting, and was instrumental in regulations intended to preserve the natural beauty of the area.”
County Council passed a resolution recently to dedicate the park to the memory of Mr. Crowder. The public is invited to attend the dedication ceremony.
LOCATION: East West Parkway at Hobson Road, Anderson
