Flag Retirement Dropbox Ceremony

Anderson County is pleased to announce the dedication of a flag drop-off location on Monday, July 14, 2025. Councilman Jimmy Davis, the Anderson Library System, and the county will host a Flag Retirement Ceremony. The event will be held in front of the Powdersville Branch Library at 11:30 a.m. The community is invited to attend.
The purpose of this ceremony is to encourage our citizenry to properly retire flags and to provide for the disposal of unserviceable flags.
