Legislative Delegation Meeting

Representative Anne Thayer, Chairman of the Anderson County Legislative Delegation, has announced a Delegation Meeting to be held December 13, 2022, 4:00 P.M. at the Ronald Townsend Government Building, 2404 N. Main St., Anderson, SC.

*If you previously applied in June 2022 for any seats listed below, you need not re-apply as your application is still on file and will be considered.

1. Consider Appointments to the Following Anderson County Boards and Commissions:

1. 1. Registration and Election Commission (Three Seats – School Districts 1 & 5 & 1 At- Large)
   2. Tri-County Technical College Board (One Seat)
   3. Disabilities and Special Needs Board (Three Seats)
   4. Children’s Foster Care Review Board (Five Seats)
   5. Anderson-Oconee-Pickens Mental Health Center Board (Two Seats)
   6. Social Services Board (Two Seats)
   7. Hammond Water District Board (Three Seats)
   8. Sandy Springs Water District Board (Four Seats)
   9. Starr-Iva Water District Board (Three Seats)
   10. Powdersville Water District Board (One Seat)
   11. West Anderson Water District Board (Three Seats)
   12. Anderson County Forestry Board (Two Seats)
   13. Anderson County Transportation Committee (Three Seats) One Seat from House District 6

Anyone interested in applying for appointment to any of the above-mentioned boards or commissions, please complete and return the application to the Delegation Office (Post Office Box 8002, Anderson, SC  29622) no later than Wednesday, November 23rd.
