Due to the current change of the County’s operational plan, the Anderson County Treasurer will waive the convenience fees associated with online payments for taxes. The cards that are accepted for payment are Visa, MasterCard and Discover. The option to pay online by e-check will also have the convenience fee waived.
A drop box has been set up in the main entrance at the Anderson County Courthouse Annex if you choose to pay in person. The only forms of payment that will be accepted at the Annex are checks and/or money orders. Please be advised that you will not immediately receive your paid receipt; it will be mailed to you. The Annex address is 401 E. River Street Anderson, SC 29624. The hours for the drop box are Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Per the directive of the Anderson County Council to close all county facilities to the public, this is to advise that the Powdersville Tax Office will be closed until further notice.
