Steve Kelly, Director of the Anderson County Emergency Medical Services announced today that Anderson County has begun operating Paramedic Quick Response Vehicles in specific areas of the County and within the City of Anderson.
Anderson County was awarded a $50,000 grant that will support the installation of an ADA-accessible kayak launch and landing at Dolly Cooper Park, located on the Saluda River in Powdersville. The new kayak launch will provide a secondary river access point at the park and will be supported by a 1,200-foot long shared-use “River Walk” path.

The Anderson County Council is pleased to welcome Flight School of Anderson to Anderson Regional Airport (KAND). This privately-owned enterprise offers a wide range of aviation instruction services, including private pilot, instrument, commercial pilot, and flight instructor training.
