Sign Blitz Campaign 2021 for the Removal of Illegal Signage

Anderson County today announced that employees of Anderson County Public Works Division will begin its annual sign blitz clean-up for removal of illegal signage that encroaches upon any right of way of a street, road, or highway within the unincorporated areas of Anderson County on Earth Day- Thursday April 22, 2021. The removal of signage will also include signs painted on or attached to trees, rocks, natural features, telephone or utility poles, street signs or poles for stoplights. Anderson County Public Works Division will put together manpower from eight (8) different departments with the task to clean our right or ways using the county’s major grid map.

B.A.S.S. Announces 2022 Bassmaster Classic Will Be Held At Lake Hartwell

B.A.S.S. officials, along with Visit Anderson and VisitGreenvilleSC, announced today that the 2022 Academy Sports + Outdoors Bassmaster Classic presented by Huk will be held for the fourth time at scenic Lake Hartwell, March 4-6, with takeoffs from Green Pond Landing & Event Center. Daily weigh-ins will be held at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena and the annual Bassmaster Classic Outdoors Expo will take place at the Greenville Convention Center, both of which are in nearby Greenville.
