Clean Up at Green Pond: Area High School Anglers Prepare for Elite Series at Lake Hartwell

Anglers, coaches and parents from area programs such as Crescent High School, Wren High School, Travelers Rest High School, Pendleton High School and the Greenwood Eagle Eye Anglers as well as members of the Clemson University Fishing Club teamed up with staff from Anderson County and Visit Anderson to sweep the areas in and around Green Pond Landing to pick up trash and litter in preparation of the Bassmaster Elite Series which will take place on April 4-7.

Anderson to Host Third Stop of the 2019 Bassmaster Elite Series on Lake Hartwell April 4-7

B.A.S.S., the world’s largest fishing organization, will host the Bassmaster Elite at Lake Hartwell, South Carolina, April 4-7, at Anderson, S.C. The event is the third of nine regular-season Elite Series bass tournaments and is the first time for the Elite Series to visit the fishery in regular season competition.
